Tikondwere Initiative accepts applications for selected assistance programs. Each submission is reviewed according to eligibility, demonstrated need, program requirements, and available funding.

Provide accurate information and supporting documents where requested.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or a specific amount.

Funding may be limited; we may request additional information during review.

Do not submit false or misleading information.

Malawi-only operations

Tikondwere runs all programs strictly in Malawi—schools, student support, and field staff are based there.

U.S. phone and email are for supporters and partners only; we do not operate programs outside Malawi.

Education

School Fees Assistance

Partial help with school, college, or university fees for eligible students in Malawi. Each request is reviewed individually, and funding is limited and not guaranteed.

Accepting applications — You may apply when you meet the eligibility requirements.

Who may qualify: Students enrolled or admitted to a recognized institution in Malawi who demonstrate financial need and provide required documents.

School-fees policy

Assistance is partial and subject to review.
Maximum partial amount: MWK 500,000 per applicant (if approved).
Partial assistance depends on eligibility, available resources, and Tikondwere’s review and approval process. Approval is not guaranteed, and support may be less than the maximum amount.

Application letter explaining why assistance is needed
Admission letter or proof of admission
Student ID card or government ID (clear photo of document)
Recent passport-style photo of the student
Fee statement, invoice, or institution evidence of outstanding fees
